Great info about your ranger - Vin number

Im not taking credit for this, im just baseing this on what i see from my LMC Truck book. if you give me your vin number i can tell you the:
World Mfr. Identifier
Manufacturer
Vehicle Type
GVWR Code
Model or Line
Chassis/Drivetrain and Body Type
Engine Type
Model Year Code
Assembly Plant
Production number of your truck [the best part ]

Ok here is mine. I know the U in the vin# means it is not flex fuel 8)

I got mine but im confused on a part of mine. Heres the VIN:

1FTYR10U63TA08530

But that "8" at the end does not look like an 8 on the actual VIN plate. It looks like the bottom is a circle and then the top circle has a flat horizontal edge. Any idea on that? Ill take a pic of it tomorrow when it is not dark out.
