Ford Ranger Problems?
Okay guys help my customers out here. my customers is running desperate. my customers have a '97 ford ranger XL Regular cab 4WD with 175,555 miles on it. my customers just got it back from the garage and it STILL has the same problem going on. It was just in there for a Basic tune up (new plugs and wires), fuel filter change, and he put throttle cleaner in it. Its hard to start, after starting it, it will make sput noises, idle hard, and rock back and forth. when driving it sputs and chugs really bad Dearborn DPA5
, especially when at stop or low speed. There is NO engine light on. my customers was driving to work today and went to put it in park and it jumped forward a foot before my customers got to put my customers foot all the way down on the break. my customers ONLY put premium gas in it. rarely regular. my customers have went through so many bottles of gas treatments and nothing has worked. my customers check the oil regularly and if it matters my customers only use the best for my customers truck no matter what it is. It still has a lot of power also. The temperature gauge is exactly where its supposed to be at, it never says overheated, yet my customers can smell something burning and it kinda smells gassy too. but its NOT a strong smell and its only when my customers it when my customers turn it off.
Life is beautiful and wonderful!
