ok ill let you no. i dont really like crome i mean i like crome but hate the high maint of it and when it gets rusty you have to spend a ton in recromeing it

When I sandblasted my intake, I wanted to paint it to look like raw aluminum. I bought some "aluminum" paint from the store and it was almost as perfect as you could expect chrome to look out of a spray can. I had to re-sandblast it because it wasn't the look I was going for but I was impressed with the quality for a spray can chrome.

That's interesting, I wonder how much prep is involved? Do you have to have as smooth as if you were doing real chrome or just paint smooth?
