With my blue 88, 2.9, auto, 4x4 it's a 110

Whoa, i can barely read that purple! haha
Mine is computer governed at 95 still. Once I get the SCT X3 it will not be limited by the computer.

Never had my truck above 80. Never really had the need to. My old car however, I got up to roughly about 130 but couldn't tell for sure cuz the speedo goes only to 120. And it was still climbing.

There is reason for the the speed limiter on a truck. Its a truck not a race car, unless the suspension is modified (for the better) you shouldn't be going much faster than 75-80. Trucks are light in the ass end and not very balanced when unloaded, so they become somewhat unstable and touchy at high speeds. You may think you are in complete control but the a small bump at high speeds can have a big affect. Reality is, you dont have nearly as much control as you think you do.
With that said. My record is 120 downhill with the wind in my 95 on 33's. ::) and it got to that speed faster than the Neon beside me.lol

Yeah it does suck! Im too poor to afford the tuner for a while. Maybe XMas time.

my ranger with the 4banger and 235/75/15 down hill was 115 but it was the comps fault she would have kept pushing ill let you know after i finish the v-8

I've had this since I was 18. Bought it for a hundred bucks which would be equivalent to a million now a days :D :D. It had a blown [ as in kaput ] 351c c-6 8" w/2.73. Took the motor apart and replaced a piston,re-ringed and put it back together. Ended up it was built up real good but the rest of the drive train didn't match. Got a stage 3 shift kit installed and a 9" [ out of a '58 Edsel, narrowest stock 9" came in ford big cars from '57 to '59] w/4.10. That's as far as i got with that combo, it really needed a high stall.

i was clocked a 98 mph down the front striate on 3/8 dirt oval it was in a pinto modified 8) . when my ranger was a v6 top speed was 50 mph and i would have to stop half way threre to put oil in it :D

That torino is beautiful! I love that body so much! I would love to have one with the same paint color as the one on Gran Torino!

with my bigger tires my speedo is off about 5 mph so the fastest i've gone is prob about 100 but she gets there really quick

100kph stuck in a snowbank in 4lo lol. actually driving on the road it was 50mph cause i only done it a couple times since im not old enough for my lisence yet lol

I really don't know how fast my ranger is..... the only speed governer is fear and common sense! haha. Who knows really. Maybe this summer I'll make a radar run on a closed road.
Now my Crown Vic on the other hand, is governed at 130MPH ish. I have a photo somewhere of the speedo reading 134MPH.

102-103 on flat ground, after that it pretty much just stops going any faster.

the fastest i've been in the ranger is 80-85 and I dont like doing that cause I can freakin see the gas needle move.
in my '72 Nova i've been to around 125ish, and that was uncomfortably fast for me

Well, just heard my computer hold back my truck at 92 again today on the highway... so gay! I want to know why there is so much money in this world and I cant get my hands on enough to get the damn tuner! GOSH!!! haha

I will never know since I have swaped to 4.11's and 31's my speedo is off a little, not to mention that my spedo only goes to 85MPH.

Danny said it best, and i only went 108 in the top of third gear passing some guy in a civic. Don't dare take it faster than that unless the tires get upgraded to Z-rated.
