I was you I would have just swapped the brake parts anyway.  Your axle is the same as and Expo axle anyway (but the perches are already flipped and shock tabs are already there).

If you put an Eaton in then I doubt you will have any problems.

Supposedly you can bolt on mustang rear  disc brakes as well.  But I don't know if it will work with the level 2 torsen rear axle.

The mustang brakes can be put on, but they are a pain to get the parking brake right, and they are pricey as hell.  The backing plate will require some extra modification to fit around the 31 spline axle tube.
