I need some suggestions for a donor that I can steal the hand controlled e-brake actuator from; between driver and pass. seat. Prefer ford but easiest install is key.

Look an just about any FWD car.  Domestic or Import.  I know Mustangs use them too.

the jy are full of escorts and tempo or topaz what ever they were they are dead simple. if you want one for rallying the vw golf brake is simple to mod the ratchet and a return spring and u have a rally brake.used to put two side by side and run a cable from each to its own back wheel cheap steering brakes. i was into dune poppers when i was a kid :rolleyes:

That's kind of where I was going with this idea in my head. Never done or seen it done. So you would pull the right one (passenger) to turn right?

yep thats how we did it back in the day.then you tighten them right up so you just have to pull up on the handle a little to get them to work, to think about it any e brake would work so long as the ratchet mec is gone. prob easer to  use  ford then it will mesh better

i no its a chevy but the 82-92 chevy camero and firebirds had a center e brake also

Wouldn't it make doing more burnouts a little easier if hooked up to the front brakes?  Gave it some thought a while back.
