Title: What brand of brake pads?
Post by: rngrdanny22 on December 07, 2009, 05:13:51 PM: Hey guys, I'm about to get some new pads for my Ranger and was wondering if you had any suggestions on the best brand...

Post by: PlumCrazy on December 08, 2009, 01:37:55 AM: I bought the truck with some Wearever Golds on it (Advance Auto brand, PO gave me the receipt) and stopped just fine, but the rotors were a little grooved and grooved the pads a little so I went ahead and bought the Wagners with the new rotors (I get 20% off, sometimes more if the right manager is working)

The cheaper brands normally have a higher metallic content and have tendency put off little more dust (normally more dust makes for a slight squeal)
