rino lineing sprayed all along the bottom sides
« on: March 07, 2010, 06:07:10 AM »
it wasn't cheap but i tried rock crawling and a rock slid of my running board and it hit the rino lineing and man i was glad i got it there it gripped the rock and stopped my truck from slidding down the rock and all it has there now is a scrap in the lineing insted of chumps of paint missing and possible cut in the metal.

I wanted to do that too... There was a truck in town here that had the whole vehicle done... looked pretty crazy though LOL

A friend of mine had that done to his Dodge. It was starting to rust 4 years ago. He had it sprayed along the bottom. Been four years and the rust is just starting to break thu.

Well i have six john boats all of which are for duck hunting. we use bed liners so we dont fall on our ass when were gettin in and out in wet waders. One has line-x and was done ten years ago, it still looks good besides a little peeling. two others have the herculiner and it seemed to have more grip and we were able to put it on to our liking. I havent had experience with rhino line but i looked at someone who did have it and it seemed like nothing would slide around in the bed and i heard it had a great warranty. So they all seem to be pretty good but ill prob go with the name brand and warranty (rhino line)

My dad did that to his F150 the day he bought it and he loves it. He USES his truck on and offroad. It has held up great and there is no rust, as far as we can see lol!

Line-X and Rhino liner are the way to go.  Herculiner is worthless in comparison the a real spray in liner.  the Herculiner WILL peel eventually if you actually use your truck no matter how much prep work you put into it.  I spent over 6 hrs doing my old Ranger and it managed to put a bunch of gauges in it when I slide stuff on it.
