Thats too far from the amp and my power wire comes into the front side of the amp.  Not to mention I have a strap around the box that goes right down the center, but It wasnt there in the picture.   I will probably put it in the console and make a false bottom to cover it.
what about under the seat?

white boy you should pull the head liner out and fiberglass the whole thing than mold in the 6x9 in the roof

hmmm thats a good idea but how would the headliner stay up wouldnt it be to heavy cuase of the speakers but i might do that ill draw up somthing tomorrow and take some meserments

I think you could do it in a thin enough layer where it wouldnt be too heavy... you would have to be really careful though...

check out marine shops.... they usually have really good deals on large amounts of fiberglass
