its a plastic headliner that has built in speakers for trucks and cars the only thing is they only make the highliner for 89 -94 regular cap but i have a 96 idk if 94 headliner would fir a 96

That's pretty cool... I'm not 100% sure if it will fit your year model or not...

It shouldn't be too bad... unless you have to buy some tools...

even if you dont, it would be half that price at the cheapest... then you gotta ask yourself is saving $100 worth all the time you're gonna spend building it... LOL

But you can never go wrong with custom ;D

what the hell are you going to make it out of steel take out the old headliner resin over it and build some rings to screw to it and fiber glass over that i would put money on it i could do it for under two bills easy maybe even cheaper

I'm thinking it would probably run ~$100 for all the materials... not counting if he has to buy any tools or whatnot (to cut the rings/wood)...

i go to the car audio shop i use to work at and they will cut me out some rings thats free but the time and the cold weather is a b.itch and theres no room at my shop to do fiberglass right now
