Ive been told by afew people that my only trans i can get is stock. I kinda need to beef up the gears cuz its going bad and its stock right now pushing 35s. what are some choices, if any?

I'm not to knowledgeable on trans but if you post more info it would help; motor size, man. or auto, 4x2 or 4x4.

well i got a 3.0 v6 automatic.. 4x4.. im forced to drive it cuz its my only truck right now but my tranny has a bad main seal leak between the trans and transfer case.. might as well make it big when i drop it

Swap in a 5 speed M50D, they can take a beating. Or gear down the rear end and the tranny will be fine.

4.56 gears in the rear axle would do the trick... but you would need front gears too... not really that cheap...
