if you guys had a truck  for like trails and back roads and stuff like that would you rather have a 5speed manual or a automatic trans? and you only spent mabey 2% of your time on trails and back roads. what would you have?

I'd like to have my truck 5 speed, I have the pedals in the truck, but its auto...

If I do any more work to the 302 I'll swap a 5 speed in, they have a few at the local pull-a-part.

Auto has its perks how you can just let off the brake and rolll steadily forward... but manual's have their benefits too! Especially when trying to rock it out from being stuck... 1st to reverse!
